This position is responsible for translating shop drawings into material and cut lists and for the preparation of the production of millwork, casework, and panel processing. Pre-Production is also responsible for the coordination of Engineering and Production departments to ensure alignment in the drawing and manufacturing of products. Produce Production-ready detailed cut lists, including dimensions, quantity, machining information, and edge treatments. Produce SOP drawings for molding knife profiles. Produce door, hardware and machining schedules. Produce Point to Point and CNC program files. Operate optimization software (ARDIS) for panel processing. Develop and review detailed drawings, specifications, and quantities for material and hardware. Create material requisition, populate material Pick List, and create and release Work Orders. Develop manufacturing procedures and monitor the manufacturing of shop drawings in production to enforce standards and improve operations and product quality. Ability to view and modify shop drawings and submittal packages for millwork, casework, and panel products using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) software. Manage overall project Pre-Production activities and distribute and coordinate work tasks, schedule, and collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, and Production. Evaluate feasibility of designs, based on factors such as technical feasibility, function, budget, and production costs/methods.
