Responsible for overseeing the quality assurance program. They will review and analyze current QA processes to identify inefficiencies and areas that need improvement. To resolve these issues, they will collaborate with other members of the management team to implement changes to increase efficiency while still maintaining high levels of quality. Their primary goal will be to ensure our products meet client specifications and safety guidelines.
Experience in Cabinet manufacturing environment is preferred; however, other wood manufacturing experience in a Quality Management role would be considered. College degree is preferred. Previous work experience will be considered in leu of educational degree. Analyze current quality assessment techniques for inconsistencies and redundancy. Collaborate with management and line production staff to achieve most efficient and accurate quality assessments. Create and implement changes to improve current processes and reduce costs. Oversee and direct the Quality Department employees to meet assigned quality and production requirements. Train production line staff in proper production practices and basic quality assessment. Follow products through the entirety of process to ensure each step is completed correctly. Perform detailed inspections of raw materials and final products and confirm they are up to standards. Monitor production and quality processes and troubleshoot any errors. Research and gather client and customer feedback for ways to improve products. Track, record, and maintain quality assurance data. Excellent analytical and math skills. Strong attention to detail. Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems. Proficient with computer and information technology. Ability to develop and maintain Quality systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
