The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for guiding and leading the work activities of the Warehouse and the Warehouse Associates. Oversees the day-to-day warehouse processes and crewing requirements to meet scheduled deadlines and due dates.
Essential Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain daily schedules and organize necessary tasks and processes to complete within required timeframes and deadlines.
Assist and oversee all training of Warehouse Associates in current or new processes and procedures.
Order and maintain supply inventory for packaging and warehouse needs.
Oversee full operation of all machinery, including daily operation, set-up and maintenance needs.
Operate a computer to process reports and forms and to maintain inventory of warehouse materials as required.
Promotes a safe working environment.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prefer prior warehouse or related experience.
Prior Supervisor or Manager experience.
Prior experience operating a forklift.
Basic personal computer skills.
Self-starter, dependable, and a team player.
Good communication skills.
Able to work with others in a cooperative and supportive manner.
Ability to train and motivate others.
Able to work flexible hours as needed to include occasional overtime.
Able to safely accomplish work within established deadlines.
Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Able to stand or sit for long periods of time, frequently reach above shoulder height, bend, push and pull for long periods of time.
