Job Description

Looking for an individual who can help chart a path and orchestrate the resources necessary to achieve the Company’s goals with high levels of quality, efficiency, and an on-time delivery.

Eligibility Requirement

Ensuring efficient daily workflow of the shop floor, working closely with direct reports

Hires, and trains management-level staff in the department

Monitor performance efficiency issues and propose solutions

Determine proper KPIs to meet objectives

Work with the Engineering team to ensure proper shop drawings and information is in hand

Manages employees in accordance with company policy

Ensure the facility and the team are prepared to meet current requirements and prepared for future growth

Partner with team members in developing, implementing, and enforcing procedures and practices related to company policies, development of standard work, safety goals, OSHA compliance and performance standards

Develop compliance with all local fire and emergency procedures, including required annual inspections or maintenance Lean/Productivity Initiatives

Drive improvements in capacity and efficiency, both through process improvements and integration of new equipment

Establish, maintain, and propagate principles on lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement

Ensure equipment and our facility is properly maintained, including identification and implementation of needed upgrades and capital expenditures

Lead activities for procurement, maintenance, equipment design and development

Implement preventive maintenance on all equipment, including all process equipment

Manage delivery personnel and ensure they are meeting schedule and quality expectations

Oversee the care, maintenance and repair of all company vehicles Requirements and Qualifications

Highly computer literate, not just proficient

Must be a people person that is not afraid to get dirty and be a motivator

A minimum of eight years of experience in a millwork manufacturing setting mandatory – preferably with experience in high-end residential work
