3059 Trim Shop Foreman/Project Manager Residential Millwork

Job Description:

Looking for shop foreman with experience managing a custom cabinet shop who will also oversee the onsite projects and installation crew. The day-to-day activities would include scheduling workers, ordering materials, working with the owner to produce shop drawings, organizing workflow to meet delivery dates.

Eligibility Requirements:

Knowledge of the building industry; must be well versed in trim and stair design and layout for high residential work.

Team oriented, but able to work independently with little direction or supervision

Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of layout, shop drawing, and construction drawings

Knowledge of materials, design and layout of residential millwork including custom closets

Excellent relationship builder; able to demonstrate a high level of tact, discretion, and diplomacy

Serve as point of contact with our customers

Plan and schedule meetings with customers

Plan and schedule trim & stair crews to preform work and meet customers schedules

Document and estimate trim & stairs

Manage day to day with field crews, answering questions and gathering need information and materials to complete all projects

Accurately prepare material take-offs

Manage jobs from initial contact through completion

A large portion of this position will be spent out of the office and in the field with customers and sub-contractors.  You are expected to represent the company in a positive manner and be responsible for using your time effectively.

Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; is exposed to vibration, humidity, changes in temperature, and loud noise.
