Job Description:
Produce high-quality, defect-free items of standard finish types (paint, stain, and glazed) through the Spray Booth and Flatline Finishing System with little/no supervision.
Lead the finish process of jobs through completion.
Train and lead other team members in development.
Eligibility Requirements:
Experience spraying industrial coatings using Air Assisted and HVLP spray systems.
Experience spraying Conversion Varnish, stains, glazes, or similar post-cat/2K systems.
Experience performing basic machinery maintenance.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
Knowledge of wood preparation for any finishing process
Ability to make small wood repairs to cabinet parts.
Basic knowledge of shop hand tools
Strong organizational skills for planning a day’s workflow.
Experience producing and organizing custom color samples.
Ability to assess the performance of others and self.
Ability to identify problems/constraints in your department and seek to resolve logically.
Focus on process efficiency and improvement.
Familiarity with cabinetry construction and installation
Experience utilizing flatline spray technology.
Manufacturing production planning
Exceptional grasp and enforcement of quality control
Job Salary:
$25 to $35/HR + (pending experience)
