3072 Manufacturing Engineer commercial millwork $75-$85K starting salary commensurate

Job Description:

Support continuous improvement culture.

Develop process and plant standards to ensure sustainable results.

Evaluate capabilities of current process and motivation for change, partner with operations leadership

Educate the organization on Lean tools.

Develop new plant standards and processes to ensure sustainment of lean processes and product flow manufacturing.

Lead and deploy Smart manufacturing concepts to improve operational efficiency including execution of project and outcome with department support.

Review support and enhancement requests daily.

Utilize prioritization system to focus efforts on high impact projects.

Provide guidance and mentorship for operations team as problems arise.

Provide guidance and mentorship for Manufacturing Engineering team.

Develop standard and ensure standards are being followed.

Follow up on projects and provide servant leadership to teams on projects and timelines.

Prioritize projects within manufacturing.

The role will take daily direction from the Director of Engineering and will have the manufacturing team indirectly reporting to the position.

Eligibility Requirements:

Technical Functional

Project Management

5-7 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail

Lean knowledge

5S and Visual workplace implementation

Basic knowledge of manufacturing capabilities.

Ability to develop a network along with influence.

Develop operations evaluation process.

Determine factory scorecard metrics and automate.

Job Salary:

$75K to $85K + (pending experience)
