Job Description: Turn architectural concepts into working, accurate and clear shop drawings that will be used by the architects /customers & our shop craftsmen. Will work closely w/ Customers, Estimator, Plant Mgr & President of Company.   Eligibility Requirements:
  • Responsible for overlooking all the projects, understanding and evaluating them.
  • Responsible for estimating accurate man hours, timelines, and schedules to complete the projects.
  • Responsible for creating Excel or MS Project schedules, showing the progress & time of each project & the overall for the CAD Department.
  • Responsible for maintaining budgets based on the number of hours allocated for each project. Trying to improve the timelines allocated.
  • Creating, establishing & implementing a CAD catalog of drawings & details.
 
  • Meeting with Owners, Architects & Builders to obtain all of the necessary information
  • Creating the actual CAD Drawings & Submittal Packets for each project, with the following considerations:
    • Engineering
    • Structural Integrity & Physical Operation
    • Hardware Compatibility, Weatherproofing
    • Design & Appearance
    • Installation & Waterproofing Demands
    • Schedules & Budgets
  • When necessary, visiting job sites to obtain information required, confirm understanding of drawings & get final sign-off on project.

We are a well established company seeking to add an experienced salesperson.  This position REQUIRES commercial millwork industry experience.  We are licensed or have authority to work in 25 states.  This would offer a motivated, experienced millwork professional a sizeable portion of the country to pursue mutually beneficial opportunities. The ideal individual would also bring new General Contractors and lines of work that fit our model.   Millwork Sales Qualifications
  • Must have working knowledge of Windows operating systems and be able to perform the following tasks without instruction.
    • Operate Outlook to send and sort emails.
    • Navigate network drives to locate information stored on the network as required.
    • Use plan hosting websites such as: ISQFT, Building Connected and other FTP sites.
    • Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Experience in commercial finish carpentry/casework is required.
  • Knowledge of bidding software “INNERGY” or “Onscreen Takeoff and Quickbid”
  • Experience required: Minimum 3-5 years with commercial millwork fabricators.
  • Basic knowledge of AWI Quality Standards is preferred.
  • Have the ability to understand what a three dimensional object will look like while only presented with two dimensional elevations.
  • Good communication skills; both in person and over the phone.
  • Existing relationship(s) with General Contractors or current clients preferred.
  Description of expected work
  • Responsible for building and improving relationships with current clients.
  • Developing new clients and lines of repetitive products in chain franchises.
  • Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Learn and understand our products and specialties.
  • Liaison with General Contractors for questions and requirements.
  • Schedule facility tours with Contractors to impress upon them our capabilities.
  NOTE: - Compensation will be a base salary of $60,000/annually with a commission of 2% on all work brought in. - Other compensation options are available for discussion. - Company cell phone and gas card. - 401K Plan after enrollment requirements have been met. - Health Insurance options available. - Other benefits will be discussed.

Will have oversight regarding change orders. Eligibility Requirements Highly knowledgeable in commercial millwork/cabinetry or similar wood products fields. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estimating. Excellent mathematics acumen. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work with all other departments to ensure scheduling, budgets, and labor costs are in line. Job Description

Coordinate and schedule daily production requirements while maintaining consistently high-quality product standards, both in the spray booth and spray line operations

Take a lead role and/or assist in prepping, priming, painting and/or staining a wide range of projects

Organize and oversee necessary manpower and procedures to achieve daily and long-term production goals.

Assure ample inventory of paints, stains, and finish room and ensure finish materials are available to meet on-time metrics

Lead effort to developing and implementing procedures to increase work flow

Create standard samples and procedures for checking color on each job – develop finish samples and process for tracking such

Ensure production quality by constantly checking finishing output

Assist estimators in developing finishing estimates

Develop preventive maintenance procedures and schedules on finishing equipment

Maintain OSHA and DEQ records and ensure that proper safety procedures are followed by all personnel.

Eligibility Requirements

Minimum of five years’ experience in wood finish processes, including mixing, color matching, staining, spraying, high gloss, etc.

Understanding of proper sanding and finishing techniques

Quality orientation with an eye for detail,

Production-orientation in approach, while maintaining high levels of quality.
